13:02 PT – Federal law enforcement sources say that when Duggar is released from prison, he will be under supervision for 20 years after his release. He was also ordered to pay a $ 50,100 fine.
Josh Duggar has been sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison after being found guilty in a child pornography trial … TMZ has learned.
As we reported, the “19 Kids and Counting” star was found guilty one reason for receiving and possessing child pornography. According to prosecutors, some of the pictures were under 12 years old.
The possession charge was dismissed due to an agreement between Duggar’s legal team and the court, so he was only convicted of receiving a child pornography charge.
Duggar’s legal team has previously announced its election.
The trial lasted two weeks and included testimony from digital forensic analysts and other witnesses. A friend of the family claimed that Duggar confessed to the harassment of the children during the tearful testimony.
You remember … the federations made a raid on his office at the car dealership where he worked in Arkansas, in November 2019. Federal agents confiscated his computer, his iPhone, and MacBook from inside a motorhome.
Duggar’s lawyers asked the court to send him to prison for five years.
