Monday is Deadline to Register to Vote by Mail in San Diego County

Those wishing to vote by post in the June 7 by-elections must register by Monday to receive ballots. San Diego County officials said Friday.

Voters can register In connection until midnight. If a potential voter’s signature can be verified through files at the California Department of Motor Vehicles, the registration will be automatically sent to the Registry office.

If not confirmed, print the ballot paper, sign it and return it to the Secretariat by 5 p.m. Monday or seal it until Monday.

For personal voting, residents can go to registry office at Kearny Mesa or visit a polling station starting on Saturday to conditional registration and vote provisionally until election day.

Those who must register to vote:

  • people who are not registered in San Diego County
  • have recently moved
  • or changed their names.
