History of the night market

The concept of the night market dates back to the ancient Chinese Tang Dynasty. To that end, during that time, they were commonly found on busy streets in the vicinity of nearby temples. Markets played a key role in social media when goods were in high demand.

For this reason, SacAsian’s vision is not only to expose the richness and diversity of the AAPI community, but also to offer a way for people to appreciate the support for small businesses in the AAPI-owned region.

“We want to offer a platform for local businesses; entrepreneurs; cooks; and creative to showcase their talent. We will have over 30 local AAPI retailers; food and beverage vendors throughout the region, and music and entertainment throughout the night.
