Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce (SacAsian) hosts its first “Night Market” in celebration of Asian-American Heritage and Pacific Islands Month on Friday, May 13 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Capitol Mall .
The event features a carefully selected selection of more than 30 local food and craft vendors owned by AAPI, such as “King Cong Brewing Co”; “Bubble Cone”; and Oak Park’s new “Native Sun,” to name a few. In addition, there will be live performances by: Soosh !, Kiyomi and Basi Vibe with a main performance directed by the well-known record artist P-Lo.
According to Matt Sumida, SacAsian’s Director of Marketing and Community Relations, “Every music artist has AAPI training with connections to Sacramento.”
SacAsian usually hosts an annual installation gala that celebrates the camera’s annual hits. In addition, they are passionate about highlighting small local businesses owned by AAPI. So moving from your annual gala to hosting a night market will provide customers with a unique but interactive shopping experience. At the same time, the event provides a space to learn more about AAPI culture and encourages community engagement in many ways.

Tickets are still on sale and general admission costs $ 25. Tickets for students with a valid student card cost $ 20. In addition, those over the age of 65 also pay $ 20 per ticket.
